This is the only remaining footage from a second feature film that director Herk Harvey started after his earlier production the classic “Carnival of Souls”. The film was based on a short story by science fiction author James Gunn originally published in Galaxy magazine, who was also a professor at the University of Kansas. Extra footage that I had created for a brickfilm before I really knew what the plot would entail. Originally, the story was about a green spear that pirates had stolen from Martians. Then, in present time, a diver found the spear and aliens came to claim it and create general havoc.
